INDIA CHINA BORDER DISPUTE

The two most populated countries across the world, INDIA and CHINA are engaging with one another in a border dispute. This dispute occurred several times in past but this time it’s more dangerous than ever before. Border between Chinese occupied   Ladakh and   India   is called Line of actual control (LAC). This is happening because both countries have their own LAC .The line between AKSAI CHIN and INDIA is called  LAC, but the problem here is that LAC is not  demarcated .Both countries have different perceptions about where LAC actually  lies  and  due to different claims by both countries there is an overlapping  territory  between them.

The area  with grey in color  is called as area of different perception (AD PA).Both armies visit here for patrolling  and due to which clashes occured between them several times, but this time the scenario is different .It is claimed that this intrusion started from 5^th of May in pan gong lake which is 130 KM in length and 5 KM  in breath, but 60% of  this  lake  falls with Chinese  territory   and  LAC  passes through lake .If you look at the map, there  are pointed  edges protruding  in the  northern side of lake.

This fringes are called as FINGERS . If we start from left /west side then these Fingers are named as F1, F2, and F3 and so on. India claims that LAC lies in F8 area whereas china claims that F2 lies in china. So the grey zone lie between F2  and  F8 .Today  Chinese  intrusion  isn’t  just  about one place but for three places  Pan-gong  lake ,  Galwan valley and  Hot  springs.

According to retired colonel Ajay Shukla(see here) , china  has occupied the area between F8 and F4 .And it is about 35-40 sq.km area . Among the three places situation in galwan valley is worst cause Chinese won’t get any military benefit from rest of the two but by coming into the galwan valley and stationing on its heights, they can overlook the  road of 225 KM that has been laid until Daulat  beg oldi  from  Shyok and Darbuk. They can fire there, if they want to stop India from making use of this road, then they can easily do so. Almost 2 battalions are stationed on the heights of valley.  But in galwan valley, both   countries have almost same LAC. India-China doesn’t have different perception here. There exist one single line, so according to him Chinese intrusion in this area is actually encroaching upon Indian territory. In the third region Chinese are making intrusion to muddle the Indian army only .They won’t get any benefit here .After intrusion in galwaan valley  India has lost  a few sq.kms of land and maybe our PM lost 20 inches of  his 56 inches chest .In this scuffling  situation  all ministers  should  come together and take some strong action against  China  but instead  of doing this they  are trying to drouse   the  situation  by  giving  excuse  of  different  perception.And the most  contradictory   speech  is  given  by  our  beloved  PM  that  ‘no intrusion has been taken place  in Indian territory ‘ ,but it raises a question that why did  our 20 brave soldiers were martyred in the clash  and also after the speech  Chinese  government claims that there were no intrusion made by Chinese  troops    instead  intrusion were  done by Indian soldiers . Indian government is not comprehensible   in this matter.

Due to all this intrusions by china , once  again the topic of  BOYCOTT CHINA  is  uplifted .Only future will  tell  how  long the boycott china will hold well.
